Environment
Our rural accommodation is located in the town of Los Baños, within the municipality of Cortes and Graena, belonging to the region of Guadix, province of Granada. Visitors can enjoy an unique rural environment.
The Village
The village is located within the Granada Geopark, one of the most emblematic and yet unknown areas of the province. This area is characterized by its peculiar orography and its spectacular landscapes, within which the traditional cave houses habitat is developed.
Thermal Land
The Thermal Spa of Graena is located a few meters from our accommodation, within the same village. The foundations of the current thermal spa are located on ancient Arabic baths, and its origins have always been associated with that period. Most of the Roman baths were remodelled or rebuilt by the Arabs. So we could venture to say that, although nothing remains of the possible Roman baths, the age of the Thermal Spa is approximately 2000 years.
A singular landscape
The orography of the land in this area of Granada, apart from making it ideal for the construction of the well-known cave-houses, offers us a very distinctive landscape, based on different formations that erosion and the course of the years have left uncovered. All these formations are known as bad-lands and gullies.
Nature in its purest form
The municipality and its surroundings have sustainable and quality natural resources. Surrounded by mountains and very close to Sierra Nevada, these resources offer a beautiful and colorful landscape at any time of the year.
Quality Products and Gastronomy
Enjoy the gastronomy and typical products of the area, based on quality agriculture and livestock, the main activities of the area. In addition to the restaurants available, do not forget to enjoy the "tapeo" culture in any of the bars of the municipality; and remember... the "tapa" in Granada is "free".
